Our Modacrylic/Cotton/Nylon blend products are made in the USA and are designed to be flame and arc resistant. The Sol Shade is an example of one of our products, which is designed to reduce sun exposure to the head and neck. It attaches to the brim of hard hats using two enclosed elastic channels that grab the edges of the hard hat. It has been thoroughly tested to fit a variety of hard hat styles from numerous manufacturers.

Manufactured in Santa Ana, California, our products are specifically designed for welders, linemen, utility workers, and oilfield and refinery workers. Our material, consisting of a skin-safe flame resistant Modacrylic, Lyocell, Para Aramid blend fabric, ensures both comfort and safety. The Sol Shade has been tested to CAT/HRC 1 6.4 cal/cmsq, meeting the performance specification requirements of ASTM F1506, NFPA 70E, and OSHA 1910.269.

In terms of care, our products are easy to maintain. They can be machine washed in warm water and tumble dried on a low setting. It is important to note that bleach should not be used when laundering our products.
