Indispensable for setting up machinery and performing various shop layout tasks, these handy double squares are manufactured in accordance with EEC Class 1 accuracy standards. They are guaranteed to be square to within 0.002 (two thousandths of an inch) over the length of each blade and come with hardened and tempered no-glare satin chrome stainless steel blades. The precision photo etched blade markings are black filled for easy readability and feature quick reading graduation markings with 1/8th and 1/16th on both sides.

Unlike traditional graduation markings used by woodworkers, these squares are designed with the most commonly used 1/8th and 1/16th graduation marks on both sides, as the finer 1/32nd and 1/64th markings are often hard to read and too precise for most tasks. The square heads are cast and then precision machined, with a locking knob ensuring they lock down tight. The squares are available with either a 4” or 6” blade and come in a cardboard box. Replacement screws are also available.

In terms of specifications, the blade width is 0.728” +/- 0.01”, the blade thickness is 0.078” +/- 0.008”, and the blade groove is 0.86” wide and 0.03” deep. The squares feature woodworking grads (1/8, 1/16) for the graduations, with a head thickness of 0.472” +/- 0.02”, a head width of 0.084” +/- 0.02”, and a head height of 2.36” +/- 0.02”.
